Segment 1- Project Introduction

Q1) What is Bitlocus? Please give a brief introduction. What are its products?
Originally Bitlocus is crypto-to-fiat CEX which has been established back in 2018.
Currently we are building a CeDeFi service on top of that as “DeFi investments platform for fiat-based users”.
Fiat-users will be able to earn DeFi yield without actually interacting with crypto or DeFi.
Our time to market will be quite fast based on what we already have as CEX — crm, kyc, aml, fiat payments processing in sepa and swift.

Q2) What do you mean by a CeDeFi solution/service?
not that new in town :D
Centralized Decentralized Finance.
Our platform is centralized and requires all usual procedures to onboard: KYC, AML, fiat payment.
Decentralized is DeFi which we will employ via automated solutions
and APYs in a way where our users wouldn’t have to do that themselves manually.

Q3) Can you please introduce Bitlocus’ team?
ok, so you know me already
Andrius Normantas (CEO) is an entrepreneur, manager, developer, professional cryptocurrency trader with over 14 years of working experience in finance field.
Glory is our CMO and he is basically “responsible” for being here.
Tadas Varanauskas — our CTO and modern day poet — writes lines in code :) He’s a helluva good blockchain developer.
Plus a few others that will soon be join by more members to support the extensive growth we need to achieve to get our platform successful

Q4) Can you please tell us about the tokenomics & utilities of $BTL Token?
Main info:
• 500M total supply,
• CW20 token (on Terra blockchain; will be bridged to other chains too. To BSC — immediately after TGE),
• deflationary (all in all 30% of total supply will be burned on quarterly events. We will buy BTL tokens back on a daily basis though).

Utilities:
• attend and earn rewards on liquidity mining and guarantee fund staking programs
• get reduced rates for our CEX’s fees

Important note:
reward programs will be fueled by (hopefully) never ending fees from earned fiat users. Since those fees are paid in fiat, this means that we will buy BTL token for rewards distribution and thus, as a platform, will also generate some buying pressure.

Q5) Partnership is one of the important factor of a project’s growth, could you please tell us about Bitlocus’ partner(s)?
Our main partners are:
• Payrico EMI — European crypto-friendly banking service (Electronic Money Institution to be exact. Actually, Revolut used to hold the same licence in Lithuania too).
• Dao Maker — our lead and strategic BTL investor.
Others include GBV, LD Capital, Evangelion, DWeb3, Double Peak, AU21, Basics Capital and a few more. Good, strong and beneficial investors.
• Social Staircase — our content and marketing agency

Q6) What has Bitlocus achieved so far? What kind of expectations we can have from Bitlocus in the near future? (Any event/update)
again, since we are not new in the space we have cex and..
by having it — well we already have about 90% of the technical solution for the CeDeFi service just based on the fact we already have up and running CEX (KYC, AML, payments fro fiat and crypto). So, that’s a huge start.
⁃ Also, we had a successful private sale round of $2.7M and that enables us to make good marketing and business development and also have deep liquidity pools. Plus, our VCs are very well connected in the space, so lot’s of shortcuts are being done already.
⁃ Public sales agreed and planned on Dao Maker, TerraFormer and Gate.io launchpads.
⁃ Gate. io is gonna be our first big CEX (our own is too small at the moment, but will also feature mostly unique BTL markets, as btl/eur, btl/ust or similar.
⁃ Good team of course.

Our main team is with us since the beginning of our company in 2018.

Segment 2- Questions from Twitter

Q1) I see it looks like Bitlocus is using TERRABLOCKCAIN. My question is why did you choose Terra as the Bitlocus blockchain? What are the advantages of Terra over other blockchains?
• huge and crypto-savvy community
• 3rd TVL in DeFi space
• cheap to maintain, low networks costs
• ready-to-go bridges to other chains (that we will utilize immediately after TGE)
• one of the best DeFi yield with Anchor’s 20% yield for UST coin
• UST and EUT stablecoins and the absolutely amazing pegging method they call

“Seigniorage”

which basically is a consensus of stable value based on their native token Luna liquidity, but not real fiat asset itself.
There is no way some regulation will switch it down, due to its decentralized nature.
While Tether could actually go down vs regulators.
Future proof stablecoins that are also willing to become the main utility currency for all chains.

Q2) Checking #BITLOCUS’s Twitter profile, I could see that in the last few weeks you have held several AMAs in different communities. Besides these AMAs, what other marketing & advertising strategies are you using to make #BITLOCUS massively known in the crypto space?
ok so
first of all there will be two kinds of users:
a) fiat or end-users for the DeFi platform
b) BTL token hodlers

both of them require diff marketing approach.
Plus, fiat users alone will also feature like two of its kind — small institutions and retail users. Again, diff marketing approach.
But shortly, most of marketing approach to institution will actually be through a network of country managers/biz devs available for for meetings, conferences, etc. Plus some marketing of course. Retail — will mostly be handles via digital marketing.
Crypto users/BTL hodlers will be mostly acquired via our extensive network of KOLs (crypto influencers basically; over $300k deal with them are done and already being promoted) + AMAs like this one.

Q3) The problem with BITLOCUS that there is no study guide. There i saw your service Nexus BITLOCUS. How can you solve this existing problem of BITLOCUS With your Academy? Also there are some other same initiatives also, whats the special services of BITLOCUS academy comparatively?
Well this questions actually refers to our Guarantee fund for fiat users that will allow them to stay at leas partially safe if any of our supported DeFi protocols (or part of it ) goes down.
Also it is gonna be a part of our reward program from the other side, where crypto supporters will be able to stake their stable coins into the guarantee fund/pool in order of earning 50% of the fees paid by the fiat client. Other 50% will go directly to the pool itself to get it ever bigger. For Bitlocus, this is mostly an additional point of sell to acquire fiat users to the platform + gives good rewards opportunity.
Academy is smth we will have focused on 2 main topics:
how to earn DeFi yields, what to look for, but mostly will show that as “how to” on Bitlocus platform itself
+ it will also have a CEX side of it for basic trading and crypto stuff overall. So it will combine help/teaching and promotion as well.

Q4) What role will the use cases of $BLT token play for the ecosystem? I mean in terms of its utility, as an investor, why do we think it will still thrive in the market when the price falls?
Demand is key for the value to go up and at least be stable.
In our case our early hodlers will be able to access our liquidity mining program for cheap bascially and earn even more BTL there, while the platform itself will also:
• buy tokens at market price for rewards payouts (remember, Bitlocus will earn from fiat users ’fees in fiat and then will exchange part of those into BTL to deliver rewards and also add additional staking into Guarantee fund with stablecoins)
• have a buy back program + quarterly burn events until 30% of tokens are burned. So BTL is actually inflationary and this also gives some value push just by onlu hodling BTL.
• offering reduced fees for CEX service if paid in BTL

Q5) Could you please give us an overview of your roadmap? Which events you particularly wanna mention & highlight as important for growth of community? Is @bitlocus Protocol anonymous team? how would you like to ensure us your project is legit?
first of all — bitlocus is not a protocol. We iz CEX :)

But basically our current focus is on public sale promotion, then
we’ll do the MVP with Anchor’s 20% yield to start acquiring fiat users, crypto debit card comes in Q2 as well as gradually we will introduce the full scope of the product/platform as promised:
• DeFi packages
• Staking
• Farming
• Lending
• NFT marketplace (mirrored with filtered out-for-scam NFTs).

Maybe minting NFTs in the future, but that’s a talk for later — not on RM for now).

Q1) Is this your project only for elite investors, how about others with small funds, is it open to everyone? Is your platform suitable for Crypto beginners? Or does it only limited for professional users?
for everyone. actually we even are focusing onto serving non-crypto-savvy clients

Q2) Does your project support staking program? if yes. how is your stake system work, what is the need for user if they want to stake in your platform?
there will be liquidity mining for sure and we are also making calcs to do simple staking temporally

Q3) Liquidity mining is the best way to generate passive income. Liquidity funds are very important for centralized exchanges and this is exactly one of the key advantages that you will have with BITLOCUS. What passive income strategies does BITLOCUS offer to users?
yeap, LM is gonna be our main rewards program actually

Q4) i Have my important question, 👉Do you have any plan for burning tokens in the future to reduce the supply of the token and increase its investment attractiveness?
yes, that’s called token burn. 30% will be burned in total on a quarterly basis.

Q5) Do you have any plans to add Nft’s to your ecosystem as this is the hottest topic in the crypto space?
there will be a small mirrored marketplace at the beginning. But we will only mirror legit sellers, tokens and projects. Basically we will mitigate some risks for spam this way + also provide an opportunity to buy and sell those with fiat money

Q6) What is your plans to provide incentives and preferences to attract new players and investors?
affiliate like program and revenue share for fiat user acquisition

Q7) On your website you don’t mention that you have done any internal or external audit of your smart contract, so can you give us details if you have done any audit before? And in case you haven’t, would you plan to perform any review of your smart contract in the near future?
yes, looking for an audit company right now actually. Having a call in 2 hours about this :D

Q8) Security is a key point for every project. Currently, many projects have been hacked. How about your project? How secure is the platform and have you done an audit?
we are implementing Fireblocks now, then we also have some usuals — cw, hwallet, 2fa, ip block, etc + stuff I cant talk about. .. due to security reasons :)

Q9) IS This Your $BTL only for elite investors, how about others with small funds, is it open to everyone?
everyone can onboard on IDOs or on public markets once launched. all are welcome

Q10) how can i get BITLOCUS token ? and where can i buy it?

Q11) Unlike most token offerings, BITLOCUS will have utility within an exchange that is already fully operational and will be offered for sale to raise capital. How can I get BTL token? How will you reward the various merchants? What are the benefits for BTL token holders?
BTL token is not yet minted for the final use, but yes — it will have the utility of basic exchange token as well.
Next change to get it is on the previously mentioned IDO platforms

Q12) Is your platform suitable for crypto beginners? Or does it only limited for professional users?
yes, non-crypto-savvy users will be one of our main TG for retail users actually

Q13) Do you have plan to include staking in your ecosystem? If yes, When will be the staking program be launch?
yes, working on simple staking right noe actually

Q14) What are the plans to educate and raise awareness and adoption among the community to make more people understand about your project easily (even for beginners)?
that’s gonna be part of our promo as well. videos and content on “how to” based on our own platform

Q15) The only way the blockchain industry will expand and grow is if we have users that will be able to use products with ease. What are some of the unique features of Token that would help attract more users?
its not unique — it is efficient and based on the success of the platform, cause BTL hoidlers will mostly gain based on its results

Q16) Many investors only care about the value of the coin. However, when most projects start listing, the value often drops seriously. Investors often have to discharge losses and suffer heavy losses. So you how do you prepare for this situation? What benefits will investors get when holding?
dude, about 70% of tokens are still there locked for the next 2 years for us. We are really very motivated to at least keep its value stable ;)
